Unbane

What it is

Unbane is construction field-reporting software that runs over an ordinary phone call, with no app or forms. Foremen call in, or Unbane calls them, and an AI voice agent asks a few guided questions about the day, then turns the answers into a structured record that is reviewed and signed off by the people on the job. It covers daily reports, safety observations, quality inspections and time-and-materials logs, rolls them up into daily and weekly summaries, and routes records into Procore, Autodesk and email. Unbane says it is SOC 2 Type II certified.

AI daily logs by phone call: cut superintendents' end-of-day paperwork

Elford

On a $106 million university housing build in Central Ohio, Elford, a general contractor building in the region since 1910, replaced end-of-day typing with a short guided phone call. Each trade-partner foreman spends about three minutes on a call run by an AI voice agent that asks about work completed, crew and hours, equipment and delays, and calls them if they forget. The superintendent reviews and signs off instead of transcribing, and the log files into Autodesk the same day. The vendor reports 90% record success across trade partners, 30-45 minutes back per foreman each day and 1-3 hours back to superintendents.
