What it is
Boon AI is a construction preconstruction platform whose AI agents read drawings and specifications for takeoff, clash detection, bid tracking and bid leveling. The vendor markets a Boon Agent that runs on-screen takeoff, builds priced assemblies and assembles cost estimates, and publishes per-trade accuracy figures for electrical, mechanical and architectural work. It lists integrations with Procore, HCSS, Autodesk Construction Cloud and BuildingConnected.

Badger Construction & Associates
Badger Construction & Associates, a Florida shell contractor, put Boon AI's Boon Agent to work as an estimating and preconstruction teammate. In roughly five weeks, a ten-person team used it to stand up on-screen takeoff, a reusable foundation-assembly library with live pricing formulas, and full cost estimation from zero in the platform. Boon's case study says the workspace includes 17 structural takeoffs across 286 plan pages spanning six projects, a foundation-assembly library (slab on grade, grade beam, monolithic footer, spread footing, linear footer, stemwall) driven by 38 pricing formulas, and 25 cost estimates totaling 2,162 priced line items. Vincent Raffaele of Badger Construction is quoted saying Boon answered and corrected about 98% of the issues he raised; Boon says more than 75% of his requested improvements shipped in the same window. The case study frames the return as net-new estimating capacity rather than a timed before/after, and the figures are vendor-published.
